Laurette Ho, MD
Dr. Ho received her B.A. degree with honors from Wellesley College. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine at Birmingham in 1992. After completing her pediatric residency at the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, she was named Chief Resident and Associate Residency Program Director. While there, she spent her time teaching medical students and residents while also seeing patients as an attending physician.

In 1997, she relocated to Atlanta and established Sandy Plains Pediatrics in 2000 after working for Egleston Pediatric Hospital. She and her husband, Vincent Ho, MD, have 3 adult children. They enjoy spending their free time with family.

Alexa Dantzler, MD
Originally from Manassas, Virginia, Dr. Alexa Dantzler moved to Atlanta to pursue her undergraduate studies at Emory University. Following graduation, she spent a gap year serving as a Global Health Fellow at the St. Joseph Clinic in Thomassique, Haiti, through the non-profit organization Medical Missionaries. She later returned to Atlanta to earn her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio. She has always cherished this city and is excited to return to the Atlanta area to begin her career in primary care pediatrics. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine with a focus on childhood wellness, nutrition, physical activity, and healthy sleep habits. She is passionate about caring for children of all ages—from newborns to adolescents—and fostering long-term relationships with families. Outside of medicine, Dr. Dantzler enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancé and their Labrador retriever, Pía. She loves hiking, swimming, fishing, and exploring U.S. National Parks.

Lindsey Owens, PNP
Lindsey is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, having earned her Master’s from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2020. She was a pediatric nurse for 13 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She has experience in general Pediatrics, Pediatric Transplant and Pediatric Urgent Care. Lindsey came to Sandy Plains Pediatrics after 9 years with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She also trained at Sandy Plains Pediatrics during her nurse practitioner program.

Lindsey relocated to the Atlanta area in 2012 from Chicago and currently lives in Woodstock. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also loves hiking and horseback riding.

Kathryne Brooke Drucker, FNP
Brooke Drucker is a Family Nurse Practitioner and a native of Marietta, Georgia. She previously specialized in Infectious Disease and Travel Medicine. She completed her pediatric rotations at Sandy Plains Pediatrics and is glad to be back! Brooke has two busy children, and enjoys running, baking and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Molly Bradshaw, CPNP
Molly is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Prior to obtaining her NP degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2022, she spent 6 years as a nurse at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Pediatric Urgent Care. Molly is originally from Annapolis, MD. She came to Atlanta by way of Hoboken, NJ and Charlottesville, VA. She currently lives in Dunwoody with her husband, 3 kids and 2 dogs. In her
free time you can find her busy with kids sports, hiking, playing tennis or enjoying time on Lake
Lanier.
